Do not forget that the Atonement was made by God, and not simply to God. The initiative is with God. Then why should we preach God´s reconciliation almost entirely from man´s side, without realizing the Divine initiative as an act of God´s self-reconciliation, timeless, eternal, in the "Lamb slain from the foundation of the world"?
